I was the Visual Effects Supervisor for Walt Disney Pictures for Adam Sandler’s Bedtime Stories, directed by Adam Shankman. The movie features several fantasy sequences where bedtime stories come to life.  I designed many of these sequences in PreVis to illustrate for the creative leads how they should be photographed and how they would look when finished. This work included sequences in the Middle Ages, The Old West, Ancient Rome, and Outer Space. Most of the backgrounds in these scenes are digital. The Coliseum and the Space Arena are full environments with digital crowds. There is also a lot of real-world magic in the gumball sequence and in the enhancement of the Los Angeles city backdrops.
